General Meeting - November, 2004
Brian Enke was nominated for chairperson in the general election. He said he will not serve as president. An e-mail vote will be initiated by Brad, polling all official RMMS members. The results will be combined with results of in-person voting at the December meeting.
The group discussed Brad Jarvis' idea of building alliances between space enthusiasts and environmentalists. The main point is that both groups have a common goal: the long term survivability of the human species. He will give a presentation on this early next year.
Ray McCall described challenges in preparing a Mars game, which he would be willing to turn into a presentation at a later date. The December meeting (to be held one week early to avoid conflict with Christmas) will also be the chapter Christmas party. Attendees can chip in money for pizza if they want.
